Lakshman Jhula is a 452 feet long big an iron suspension foot bridge located in Rishikesh in Indian state's of Uttaranchal. The Lakshman Jhula is one of the most parmanent landmarks at Rishikesh. It's made over Holy river Ganges to cross the river and is a landmark of Rishikesh. It is said that Lakshman crossed Ganges on jute ropes between the place where this bridge is built. Neelkanth Mahadev Temple is located on the outskirts of Holy Rishikesh, around 13 km away, is a revered temple,Popullarly known as ‘Nilkanth Mahadeo’.
